At Bayareech, customer satisfaction is our priority. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, returns, and exchanges are processed on our platform. Each vendor may have specific return policies, which are displayed on their product pages.
Return Window
Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they meet the following conditions:
- Item is unused and in its original condition
- All original packaging, tags, and accessories are included
- Item is not from a category with specific exclusions (see below)
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Personal care and hygiene products that have been opened
- Digital goods and downloadable products
- Gift cards and vouchers
- Custom-made or personalised items
- Items marked as final sale by the vendor
How to Initiate a Return
- Log into your Bayareech account and navigate to My Orders
- Find the order containing the item you wish to return
- Click Request Return and select the reason for return
- Submit your request — the vendor will review and respond within 2 business days
- If approved, you will receive a return shipping label via email
- Pack the item securely and drop it off at the designated shipping location
Refund Processing
Once your returned item is received and inspected:
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Funds are returned to your original payment method
- Mobile money refunds are typically instant once processed
- Card refunds may take an additional 2-5 business days to appear
Shipping Costs
- Return shipping is free for defective or incorrect items
- For change-of-mind returns, the return shipping cost is deducted from the refund amount
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to vendor error
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact the vendor within 48 hours of delivery. Include photos of the damage or error. You are eligible for a full refund including all shipping costs, or a free replacement at your choice.
Exchanges
Exchanges are processed as a return followed by a new order. Return the original item for a refund, then place a new order for the desired item. This ensures the fastest processing time.
